1. Noise: Do NOT book accommodation directly on West Street! The clubs and bars are incredibly loud until the early morning. Always book your hotel within walking distance of the area, but never right in the midst of it if you value your sleep.
2. Luggage Drop-off: Many streets around West Street and downtown are pedestrian-only. Taxis and Didi cars often cannot drop you off at your hotel door, meaning you may have to drag your luggage for several blocks. Always confirm the exact drop-off point with your hotel in advance!
